She is known for helping leaders and organizations navigate complex transitions, strengthen alignment, and move forward with clarity and confidence.
As a proud social worker by trade and training, Marissa approaches her work with groups, teams, and organizations as her core practice area—bringing a human-centered lens to how change is understood, navigated, and sustained.

Over the course of her career, Marissa has been called on to support more than 100 nonprofit and philanthropic organizations through critical moments of change—including leadership transitions, organizational growth, governance challenges, and strategic realignment.
She has also facilitated leadership development experiences for more than 10,000 leaders across the country and abroad.
Her work spans nonprofit, corporate, education, faith-based, and community systems—with more than 30 years of professional experience, including over 20 years in the nonprofit sector and 15 years as a consultant and business owner.
Before launching her private practice, Marissa served as an Executive Director and Interim CEO for multiple organizations, giving her firsthand experience navigating the very challenges her clients face.
Marissa’s work sits at the intersection of life, leadership, and the culture and dynamics within organizations that shape how people experience change.
Her approach is both strategic and relational—grounded in deep listening, honest insight, and practical implementation.

With more than two decades of experience spanning nonprofit leadership, interim executive roles, organizational consulting, and executive advisement, Marissa is known for her ability to name what others sense but struggle to articulate — and to help leaders move forward with clarity, confidence, and capacity.
She has served as CEO, Chief of Staff, Vice President of Operations, and interim executive across organizations at critical inflection points, including executive transitions, rapid growth, cultural strain, and restructuring. Her work often sits at the intersection of leadership, systems, and relational dynamics — particularly in environments where the vision is strong, but execution has become strained or unsustainable.
