Make Shift Happen International is a leadership advisory, coaching, and facilitation practice built on a simple but powerful belief: that navigating change doesn’t have to be as hard as most people make it — and the results don’t have to be uncertain.

We are not a training vendor.
Though a lot of what we do educates and empowers.

We are not an ordinary consulting firm.
Though we spend a great deal of time advising, strategizing, and building plans.

We are in the business of transformation. 

And transformation takes time.

We value long-term partnerships, show up consistently and honestly, and stay in it for the long game — until the shift actually takes hold.

We serve those navigating life, leadership, and business transitions. We serve organizations navigating the complexity of leading through change. And we do this work through the SHIFT Methodology™ — a proven, proprietary framework that is the backbone of everything we do.

The SHIFT Method™ — What it actually is

Most approaches to change start with a framework. The SHIFT Method starts with a belief:

You don’t have to stay where you’ve been.

No matter how long it’s been. No matter how good it looks from the outside. No matter who you feel obligated to — tradition, family, expectation, fear. You have the audacity to move. To do the excavation. To change your mind. To reclaim what’s true about you.

That audacity is

Groundedness
We are down to earth, relatable, and human first. We don’t take ourselves too seriously, and we know that we’ll make mistakes from time to time. We give ourselves grace — and we hold ourselves accountable. The work is deep but we don’t have to be heavy about it.
Joy
We believe in laughter, lightness, and fun. Meaningful work doesn’t have to be heavy all the time. It takes more energy to frown than to smile. We celebrate progress, honor the journey, and make room for delight.
Respect
We care about how people are treated — extending common courtesy and dignity in the workplace and in the world. Agreeing to disagree without being disagreeable. Advocating for those without voice. And ending engagements when this value can no longer be honored.

We are committed to spaces where people can show up fully — unmasked, respected, and valued across all identities.
