Who is the event for?
High-achieving women business owners, entrepreneurs, executive leaders and other experts in their fields who are hungry for the clarity, confidence, competence and community they need to make shift happen in their life and business. If you’re open and interested in learning and growing in a refreshing community of like-minded peers. This event is for you.
What kind of technology will be used for the event? Will I need to be on video?
Accepted participants will receive a web link to access the event via video conference. We typically start in webinar format but strongly encourage all participants to be prepared to participate via video if possible, however, cameras should be turned off if you are driving or have other distractions in your background. We have a very lively chat and Marissa frequently calls on participants for live video or audio engagement.
Will the event be streamed live on YouTube, Facebook etc.?
No, you must apply and attend this private event in person to experience this shift.
Will there be a replay?
Replays are only provided to active clients of the Make Shift Happen Academy.
Can I bring a friend?
We accept applications from any woman ready to make shift happen in her life, business or career. Of course, everyone should apply individually. And don’t be surprised if others don’t follow through. Remember, we created this community so women like you would have a place to go even if they have to do it without their inner circle.

Paine is hopelessly addicted to helping women entrepreneurs and executives to get over their “story” and make the shifts they need to create the life and business results their hearts can imagine but their heads struggle to make happen.
Once settling for a status quo existence and living well beneath her true potential, Marissa has transformed her own life and business many times.
She’s shifted from secretary to CEO, from separated and seeking divorce to celebrating a dream twenty-five years vow renewal and from being overworked and unfulfilled to doing her life’s work: facilitating transformational shifts for individuals and organizations.
A proud social worker by trade and expert in intra- and interpersonal relationships, Marissa’s clients include service-based business owners, CEOs and other executive leaders; plus couples, leadership teams, boards of directors and beyond.
Marissa holds a masters degree in social work from Washington University in St. Louis and a professional coach credential from the International Coach Federation. A lifetime learner and champion for racial justice and inclusion, Marissa has additional training and certifications in building cohesive teams, organization and relationship systems coaching, governance training, social and emotional intelligence, change management and facilitation.
Prior to starting her company in 2012, Marissa held various communications and human resources positions in Fortune 500 companies and served as chief executive in both large and small nonprofits.

As a business owner, you’ve likely heard several different conversations around price versus value versus worth.
It can be challenging to determine your pricing, particularly as a service-based business owner. It can be even more difficult to discuss, determine and communicate the value of your services all while maintaining your self worth.
Boy that was a mouth full. I recently shared two reels on my Instagram page where I showed the wall where my Master’s degree plus the Bachelor’s degrees of my three children were hanging. In them, I discussed the differences between price, value and worth.
Ten years ago
I made the decision to shift from
full-time employee to full-time entrepreneur and I cannot WAIT to share with you the real and the raw of what that shift truly looked like.
Truthfully, it wasn’t a single shift, but a series of various shifts over the past ten years that has led me from full-time employee to full-time BOSS!
I am still amazed at how I’ve shifted from employee to entrepreneur, from entrepreneur to CEO and now from CEO to boss. Not only am I living my dream, but I also have an amazing team who support me in making a difference in the lives of our clients.
One of the reasons why I am so passionate about helping women make shift happen is because I know from experience the risks and rewards for taking unprecedented action toward your big vision.
Honestly, I feel that many other leaders aren’t always truly transparent about what it really takes to make big things happen in your life. They prefer to paint a rosy picture and not tell the full unadulterated truth.

How will I get access to the recordings?
The recordings from Lead{her}Shift LIVE 2022 have been set up in a vault in the Make Shift Happen Academy. After completing your Academy registration and payment, you will receive access to the event vault for one year. The event vault contains over twenty videos from the three-day event.
Do I have to pay for the recordings if I paid to attend the event live?
No, you should have received an email with a Discount Code to enroll in the Lead{her}Shift Live Event Vault at no additional expense. Email support@marissaqpaine.com if you have problems.
What is the Leadhershift Live 2022 After Party?
The after party is an opportunity to reconnect with the energy that was in the room during the live event and to regain any lost momentum before event season is officially closed and you are on to the execution phase of your shift. All registrants whether live or encore will receive an invite to this event.
